The new logo concept was inspired by overlapping footsteps – like old-school dance diagrams – but re-imagined in a loose, playful way. It speaks to movement, connection, and the joy of learning together, side by side.
The colourful, layered shapes nod to empathy and stepping into someone else’s shoes, a key part of the Alberta Dance Theatre experience. The logo reflects the playful, friendly, and empathetic qualities of the brand – joyful, expressive, and built from movement, just like the young people at ADT.
